dan lorenzen
dan lorenzen is a musician and analog photographer working under the name dloma studio. his practice spans two disciplines united by a single philosophy: presence over perfection, process over product.
his music draws from ambient, electronic, and modern classical traditions — compositions shaped by silence as much as by sound. each release is crafted as a complete world, intended to be heard from beginning to end.
his photography is captured on film — a leica m3 and a hasselblad 500c/m for medium format. no retakes, no infinite storage. each exposure is a commitment, and the resulting images carry the weight of that intention.
based between mexico and europe, dan lorenzen lets geography shape the work — the light of the desert, the architecture of old cities, the distances between places that feel like home.
studio philosophy
a studio is not a place. it is a way of paying attention.
dloma studio exists wherever the work demands — in a room with instruments, on a street with a camera, in the silence between both.
